The project we realized two years – 7/2014-6/2016. It was focused on trade and services for apprenticeship Salesman and study program Business. Mobilities were implemented in the wholesale METRO Cash & Carry Ltd. s.r.o. in Žilina in the Slovak Republic. Internship was attended by 24 students and 4 accompanying persons. We realized four runs in six students in autumn 2014, spring 2015, autumn 2015 and spring 2016. As a priority of the project we involved young people from disadvantaged sociocultural backgrounds in the amount of 100%. The level of professional competence of students was increased in services of wholesale, they recognized new forms of work, new technologies and new techniques with foreign firms. Technical content internship was focused on the following activities - work in the department of cash desks and the reception, the ways of selling goods, basic principles of the presentation of the goods, private brands, rules for handling goods, solution of the damaged goods, work with decorations, electronic education, preparation of goods for sale, ordering of the goods, distribution channels, documents and receipt of the goods. The impact of the project on participating members: a) for students – they gained new professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills, strengthened accountability for granted competencies and self-determination, they acquired language skills in professional terminology in the Slovak language, they received a certificate of completion of the internship, Certificate e-Training and Mobility Europass, which can help them in job searching both at home and abroad, they increased interest in learning, it increased the adaptability and flexibility of the pupil, b) for teachers of vocational subjects and vocational training - Comparison of procedures and equipment, enriched of teaching vocational subjects and vocational training, c) for school - using the project to upgrade the content of vocational subject Business operations and Teaching practice, for the application of new forms and methods of teaching, developing new competencies of school staff - especially project management, opportunity to participate in international internships increased the attractiveness of the offered fields of education, d) to the House of foreign cooperation could be our interns benefit from the experience with project partners and using the outputs of the project, which will be in the annexes to this report. e) for the receiving organization - they are part of the educational process and training of young people for their future profession.
