We are teachers of the primary school in Żarki, a small town in the Jura Krakow-Czestochowa, a beautiful natural area but poor in places of employment and having their social and environmental problems. To meet the needs of school teachers of early childhood education, science, English and physical education -8 people- have created a project" From diagnosis of the student's needs through high quality education, improvement and innovation of teachers to educational optimal results of pupils from a small town" that will help in getting the various competencies to improve the work in a facility, the level and quality of education, resolve behavioral problems, be open to new broadly considered initiatives and Europe. The theme of the project stems from a number of needs of schools that have been analyzed and diagnosed through pedagogical psychological, methodological, educational and social aspects. The main goal of the project is a joint effort of the teaching staff and the organizers of the training from Malta, Germany, Portugal and England to acquire skills and competences by the project participants in the areas of: strategic thinking, towards improving the quality of learning and performance, attractiveness of science and ecology lessons and environmental awareness, solving emotional and social differences and problems of students, fluency and communication language, the attractiveness of the working methods of the teacher and student in terms of logical thinking, reading comprehension, and at various levels of education, the search for modern, innovative and activating methods of working with pupils at risk of social exclusion, pupils with special educational needs, the search for such ways of working to develop and motivate gifted pupil, the youngest children (6-year-old) children from the rural and small-town.We want to achieve the set goals, the results of these activities, the closer and further benefits and have an impact on the project's influence on our local community, and European project partners:- making classes of science and nature more attractive in the fields of nature, environment and ecology, language,- developing cognitive abilities and skills for actions, shaping specific social attitudes based on known forms and methods of didactics and methodology,-shaping research attitude, exploration and open to innovations- making exercises, experiments, observations, and using the traditional and modern equipment which serves for this, combating stereotypes in teaching,-abilities to analyze, synthesize, compare, classify, generalize, discovering connections of cause and effect, temporal connections and logical thinking and abstraction; the use of these mental processes in the learning process of students.-getting to know new forms of work with students with the use of practical forms, outdoor, releasing creativity of teachers with difficult, disadvantaged, talented and with special educational needs and emotional pupils,-developing competencies related to thinking, critical thinking, tolerance, shaping right social attitudes and the environmental, ecological and cultural attitudes,-improving students' results in mathematics and natural sciences, reading comprehension, equal educational and social opportunities,-improving awareness of students in the field of healthy and active mode and lifestyle,-getting new ideas for greater correlation with subject teams and inventiveness for nice, interesting extracurricular activities-opening to Europe-we are a small town, we want to open children, parents, school to participate in small and large European projects eg. e-Twinning, Erasmus plus,- exchanging knowledge and experience with European partners, giving the school a European dimension, developing expertise in teacher's training to use that knowledge in the work with the student,- the experience of project leaders can be used to teach other teachers to make implemention projects become the norm,- enriching the pedagogical and psychological knowledge of participants, improving their language, communication, social, interpersonal and intercultural competences,- also increasing the professionalism of teachers of our school,- increasing the level and quality of school work by identifying needs which must be improved, implementing taken in the course of training innovative solutions, new methods and forms of work, strengthening the professional capacity of school staff and their participation in training,-creating mini projects of eTwinning- enabling students and teachers to work; SEEP, the local, specialistic press of the national scale. Better communication with partners will give the European dimension of school work.
