The progress of civilization, globalization, the development of science and technology and changes in work organization , as well as the deepening of the competitiveness of the local, national and EU labour market affect the necessity to adapt to the realities of the vocational education to the economy and needs of the labour market. Employers' expectations and requirements for future employees, especially graduates, both in the EU and Poland is steadily growing. The socio-economic conditional integration processes in Europe also affects the process of vocational training. There is he necessity to adapt Polish vocational education to the European Qualifications Framework, as well as to adapt to the new core curriculum, that is why the most active teachers of vocational subjects and school leaders want to benefit from the experience developed by the partner in the field of the usage of formative assessment. Managers at the school want to create an educational culture that favour the integration between teachers and students. We would like to take advantage of the positive experience of the European partners in the range of formative assessment and implement them in our school vocational module education. The aims of the project: - the usage of formative assessment in vocational module education - development of the staff in secondary school in Kłaninio - increase of motivation and satisfaction from daily work -improvement of the quality of vocational education -getting to know the work rules in the partner country -promote the knowledge of other cultures and traditions -improvement of the foreign language skills, focused on special terminology -form the right attitude to tolerance and openness to racial, ethnic and religious differences - sense of belonging to the European community The project participants : 14 people: 2 people from the leader organ, 3 from management of secondary school in Kłanino, 8 teachers of vocational subjects and pedagogue. The project is based on the mobility: staff training and will be based on the observation of classes (job shadowing) in the chosen educational centre in the UK, which is using formative assessment in their institution. The project will start from the recruitment of the participants, Then they will attend on cultural, linguistic and pedagogical training. The next step will be the observation of the classes with the usage of formative assessment, after which participants will gain the results and they will spread them. Planned results : methodological notebooks with scripts of the lessons using formative assessment i, multimedia presentations about the politics of education and training in the UK and examples of good practice, good practice and approach to formative assessment. Managers will write articles to the press and educational publications. Employees from the leader organ organize the conference in the field of teaching formative assessment for the headmasters and teachers from the local districts. They also proposes formative assessment in the strategy of schools in the region. The share of the participants in the project will initiate the creation of vocational consultancy, which currently does not exist. The project is a response to the educational needs of secondary schools which teaches in various professions. In response to these needs, the project will modify the process of education and implement formative assessment, which will positively affect the results of the teaching process. Thanks to formative assessment lessons will become more attractive and affordable for students, and at the same will improve the standard of achievement, alignment of the learning results and improvement of learning abilities. Formative assessment is one of the most effective strategies, leading to high learning outcomes. An important aim of the project are better results achieved by all the students and at the same time acquire the ability to "learn how to learn". Participation of the staff in the project is an alternative and an opportunity to increase their skills and knowledge in the field of formative assessment. The usage of this assessment will help adjust teaching strategies to the needs of the learner. In secondary school in Kłanino we have classes in a modular system, which favours the usage of formative assessment. Observation of classes in the UK educational centre was held on 05-13 March 2016 including traveling.
