The project stems from the need to: - modernize the working methods of our school by making them more flexibile and effective in a European cooperation setting - accompany the students in the process of acquiring European cooperation setting - research alternative strategies to encourage the school attendance of students who are at risk dispersion - to improve leadership, management and administrative routine skills - to redesign the organization of teaching methods by promoting self-assessment tools - to encourage training activities among teachers and students in view of the Long Life Learning - to enhance the partecipants' foreign languages competence. The project will involve the entire staff of our school as well as our students on which we will evaluate the short and long term results of the performed activities. Directly involved in the job shadowing activities will be two teachers, an English teacher and one of humanistic discipline, the head teacher and an employee of the administrative staff. This group: - is able to communicate in English - belongs to the youngest group of teachers in the school - has post-graduated specialization courses - is highly motivated - has digital skills. The four people of the staff will be supported by working groups assigned to: communication, document procedures for logistics, monitoring and evaluation, impact and dissemination spreading. In short, the activities to be carried out at the partner school are: - vision of the activities calendar for the preparation, with the support of the tutor, of a precise work plan; - analysis and comparison of curricula, pedagogical documentation and evaluation systems; - analysis and comparison of management style; - comparisons of the self evaluation methods of the school; - visiting the premises and laboratories, knowledge of pupils; - observation of the working method, Dalton Plan, during the teachin activity; - taking part in activities of studieochtend, kennismakingsgesprekken, schoolfotograaf ; - active partecipation in the preparation of the12° Nationaal Schoolontbijt on 7th November (national day dedicated to the importance of breakfast in childhood) - taking part in the governing bodies; - attending CLIL courses designed for the staff of the host school; - partecipation in the activities planned for the afternoon. The entire project has, as its long term purpose, the aquisition of good practices in education and teaching, the increase in teachers of technical and methodological skills to be applied in their own reality, in order to increase the motivation of students at risk dispersion and at the same time to promote excellence, as well as to increase self-empowerement and self-esteem. At a local level it is our intention to share what we will learn and to promote the dissemination of our results throught the eTwinning portal, the activation of a counter for advice and the organization of meetings with colleagues, parents and authorities.
