1) CONTEXT/BACKGROUND AND NEEDS OF PARTICIPANTS
The staff of EURO-NET is composed by persons, that work quite exclusively on European iniatives and that need (for their work in the association) to learn new learning methodologies and teaching methods and to adjourn language competences.
It is also important to underline that EURO-NET has decided to apply for a training staff abroad as SINGLE ORGANISATION but structuring a well-made programme already identifying (even if not required by the Erasmus + call for this kind of activities) from the beginning its receiving/hosting organism/training provider group.
2) NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
The association intends to realise a training abroad for 16 members of its staff (already selected with an internal procedure realised with the help also of external experts).
3) OBJECTIVES
The project's objective is to meet the needs of the staff of EURO-NET that can give them:
a) the learning of new methologies in teaching;
b) the improvement of language skills;
c) the gain of communicative competences;
d) the better knowledge of CLIL abilities;
e) the betterment of confidence in the use of foreign language.
4) DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES
The chosen training courses are the following:
- Stretching the imagination: Nurturing Creativity (17-23/08/2014) in Berlin
- Play to learn: Teaching and Learning Strategies combining Games and Technology (31/08-06/09/2014) in Dublin
- Playing CLIL - a new methodology (26/10-01/11/2014) in Gran Canaria
- Playing CLIL - a new methodology (february 2015) in Berlin
- Let's tell us your story - Practical training for storytellers (29/3-04/04/2015) in Edinburgh
- Play to learn: Teaching and Learning Strategies combining Games and Technology (05-11/04/2015) in Madrid
The different opportunities of training can answer, in various flows during the year of the project development, to the staff needs of the association, giving also as consequence of the variety of courses that all the different competences learned can be later shared inside all the staff.
4) METHODOLOGIES
The project, which is based on the typical methods of the Eramsus + programs of the European Commission and in particular on "learning by doing", provides for staff training abroad in 4 different European countries (IRELAND, UK, GERMANY and SPAIN).
5) RESULTS
The expected results care:
• professional development;
• consolidation of a new management model;
• increased productivity thanks to new methods and methodologies;
• strengthening of the image;
• more creativity;
• competitive market positioning necessary, especially in times of crisis
6) IMPACT
We are sure to have for the project a very good impact:
A) with all target group (beneficiaries, organisations, etc.) thanks to the learned methodologies and to the plan of communication/dissemination
B) at any level (local, regional, national, europen/international) thanks to all communication tools to be used for spreading the information and the results.
7) BENEFITS
Of course, all the methods and methodologies learned during the training abroad will be used in each future local event to be realised (training, workshop, and so on).
