The proposed project is a result of the recent youth exchange with our partners in Oberhof, Germany in March 2015. Due to the dynamics and good results, there appeared the idea of creating and placing art in urban areas for the citizens and international audience of Oberhof during major sports events. 40 young people from Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary develop themes, organize and produce a mural that will be installed in the public space in Oberhof. Based on the experience already gained in this field, relevant topics, which are to be artistically worked on, will be found during multilateral workshops under the professional guidance of external artists. This will help participants to deal with current political or social topics, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, to develop skills to artistically work on these topics and to find the forms of expression, which expands their social skills. The exchange will include sporting leisure activities, of which there are plenty in Oberhof, as well as an intercultural programme. Longstanding contributors as well as newfound NGOs act as partners at international level. The City Administration of Oberhof, the Tourism Group and housing administration are involved at municipal level and will support the project to the best of their ability. The project has a duration of 14 days.
