When we were looking for funding for this project, we stood in front of a school reform. It demanded that we found new dynamic tools and teaching methods that could inspire both teachers and students to a professional and innovative boost. The new course "Design" requires new thinking and therefore we would send one of our art / woodwork teachers to a school that has a good reputation for just the design profession. In the science subjects we chose to send three teachers ahead (primary to secondary school) for a course in teaching of science at all levels. 1 sports teacher was send to Spain to make job shadowing with physical education teachers from Mallorca, to get inspiration and new ideas for physics.The teachers we sent off should make a knowledge sharing and teaching with other teachers in their areas so that the new initiatives was brought to life. The idea was to build a network throughout the EU to future exchange experiences and ideas. Finally we will look at how to handle students who are already bilingual and to learn a third language. These students are mostly immigrants and has a high risk of not completing secondary education. In total we sent 8 teachers ahead. Unfortunately, one teacher was affected by stress before departure and ahd to go on sick leave. Since all of these courses and job shadowing was held late in the school year ( due to that we in the first place came on hold for the grant), we have still not implemented the new knowledge in school, but at the start of the new school year there will be held knowledge sharing and internal courses for the teachers at the school, and implementes in the annual plans how we will work with the new knowledge. The first feedback from the participants is that they have gotten much new knowledge and inspiration for teaching, and that the school will promote and encourage colleagues to seek further education through the Erasmus +. We are allready now in the process of redesigning our natural science education so that it becomes a continuous cycle from early school years to the eldest classes.
