CONTEXT Sierra Minera High school is placed in La Unión, one of the most underpriviledged areas in the región of Murcia socioeconomically speaking. This environment demands from the educational institutions the absolute necessity to give response to our students´needs for improving their personal, linguistic and cultural knowledge, offering them the oportunity to participate in the academic,, social, cultural and economic life of other European countries. This is the reason why we started the bilingual scheme in the school year 2011/2012 and the international standing of the school (European development plan) with the participation in different European schemes during the last school years ( Comenius, Leonardo, Erasmus, Academia). Our participation in Erasmus + makes sense within the framework of that European development plan, in both, Action KA1 (mobility for learning at school level, vocational training and Higher Education) Action KA2 (strategic associations) to start educational actions, cooperative projects, exchanges, teacher mobility,etc. which will complete and improve the quality of the educational offer of our school. NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS Ten mobilities for teachers of foreign languages, teachers who teach their subjects in English within the bilingual scheme, and other teachers who are interested in improving their didactic and linguistic competence. PLANNED ACTIVITIES Training courses on innovatory methodologies (drama, communication and information technologies and CLIL approachin well-known educational institutions of UK with accepted prestige and educational experience in teachers´training in the framework of the Comenius scheme. METHODOLOGY We have selected training courses with methodologies based on the communicative approach and the design of motivating activities requiring the active role of the participant. RESULTS -The teachers´ improvement in their linguistic competence and in the use of innovatory methodologies. -Acquisition of CLIL competences. - Improvement in linguistic competence to allow teachers get a certificate of English (B2). IMPACT An impact on the whole school is intended, impact on participants as well as in the CLIL aproach will have a strong impact on the rest of teachers by means of the activities of diffusion and on the students by improving their competence and motivation towards the foreign languages. ADVANTAGES IN THE LONG TERM With this Project we intend the impact to be sustainable as far as time is concerned and long lasting advantages in our school, especially regarding: -The bilingual sheme which will be enlarged to non compulsory secondary educationwith high expectations of quality in the teaching learning process. -The European standing of the school, with the growing participation of teachers and students through KA1 and KA2 of Erasmus + in the levels of school education, vocational training and Higher education. -The school as a whole by introducing quality and innovatory processes as well as continuous improvemen
