The project reflects the commitment of BGBA for development and the transfer of innovative, multiplier programs in the field of physical activity for health and wellbeing by promoting of ‘sport for all’ and its social and health dimensions, thus aims to change the situation in the country in a positive way. This project not only enables the participating volunteers to be active European citizens through their activities in BGBA (Plovdiv), but also has an impact on the Bulgarian country and even Europe, by promoting European values, volunteering and healthy lifestyle. The project is designed to correspond to some main priorities covered in the Erasmus+ program: - Fight against youth unemployment – the project focuses on developing professional skills and competences, which will be especially important in the labour market; - Fight against the increasing levels of inactivity among the European citizens and the resulting negative quality of life – in this regard in the Erasmus+ program (2014-2020) a whole chapter is dedicated to sport; - Multicultural environment and values – ability to work in a multicultural environment, as well as developing communication skills; being aware of other cultures and nationalities, accepting the differences, and being tolerant; The project NowWeMOVE Bulgaria will give the volunteers a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience. Their participation in a wide range of activities will improve some of their key competences and will acquire a wide range of skills such as teamwork and project management skills, and communication skills. Due to the pan-European nature of the NowWeMOVE campaign, the volunteers will have the chance to continue to work on the campaign in their own country. For this purpose, BGBA will provide the contacts of the respective national coordinators as well as recommendations for the activities carried out during the project. BGBA and the sending organizations, from their part, will increase the capacity and will acquire fresh inspiration with regard to international and intercultural communication, which will contribute for more and better opportunities for networking.
