Nowoczesna agroturystyka i agrobiznes - szansa rozwoju dla młodzieży wiejskiej

The project included internship for students from Zespół Szkół im. W. Reymonta in Chodecz, which is due to a problem with recruiting replaced the originally specified in the project Zespół Szkół im. W. Witosa in Ostrożany. Unfortunately, in the School from Ostrożany it was too little entitled to participate in the project the students profile indicated in the application. The internship was be attended by a total of 28 persons, who went for training to Greece. Students went to the internship with two guardians (being their school teachers). Professional training was scheduled for three weeks in accordance with prepared program and will be held in October 2015. It is implemented by the Association for the continuation of the project within the Mobility of last year. Internship project was a response to changing conditions and increasing competition in the local and European labor market, which requires an adjustment in the range of vocational education to the changing needs. The project was also a response to the new objectives of EU policy for rural areas, which poses challenges including ecological production, production of healthy food and the creation of alternative sources of income for rural populations. The activities planned under the project were to increase the attractiveness of agricultural areas and to reduce the distance to urban areas. Agricultural schools should prepare its graduates to these changes. Participation by the students the internship in host countries is aimed at learning, understanding and mastering by the youth and future implementation of solutions generating additional income for agricultural areas. The aim of the project was also shaping the skills of the students needed to develop the local and European labor market. The project was also develop an attitude of flexibility and mobility of students in the labor market. The youth learning was be able to know the specifics of the profession in different cultural, climate and technological settings. Students took the internship in small companies and farms, which will allow them for comprehensive learning of the functioning of this type of businesses. The curriculum was designed to be versatile and comprehensive as much as possible to meet the needs of the participants. The youth had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of nutrition based on the different culture and traditions. Today, in the age of the global labor market and cultural exchanges such knowledge is essential for high-quality customer service and vocational development. The internship allowed its participants for organization of various culinary events, receptions for local residents. Students learned about the opportunities regarding provision of farmhouses services to other agricultural producers with use of highly specialized equipment and methods of farm income diversification. Results of the project included, among others: - The improvement of professional skills of participants in fields related to broadly understood agribusiness industry; - The development of language skills; - Increased flexibility, entrepreneurship, competitiveness and labor market mobility; - Better, more efficient development and career management, and flexible changes in agribusiness in their area; - Independence, openness and tolerance facilitating the performance of their profession abroad and dealing in unusual circumstances; - Knowledge of the history, culture, conditions of living and work of the residents of the host countries; - To raise the prestige of the school and the quality and attractiveness of vocational education at school; - Receipt of the Europass Mobility certifying mastery of respective skills.
