Project „Nowe perspektywy Ósemki – z angielskim łatwiej” („Eight’s new prospects – it’s easier with English”) is connected with realization of assumptions of modern education on European level. It is responsible for institution’s needs linked with realization of Core Curriculum in range of preparing kids for using modern foreign language. Main assumptions of the project are concentrated on improving the working quality offered by educational institution. Project’s aims:- Improve of English language communication abilities among teachers- Obtain document - Europass Mobility - Effective usage of mobile equipment and communication-informative technologies - Open for international cooperation- Raise education effects- Promote institution- Achieve life skills unnecessary for personal development, better employment and aware European citizenshipParticipants:- Nine teachers who are willing to take part in Mobility- Director who manages the project, gives organizational and logistics support- Mentor– deputy who knows teachers competences, qualifications and their potential - English teacher involved in all project stages- Teacher responsible for IT and technical support - Evaluator - necessary in final stage of the project - Photographer documenting all the stages. This project is directed to teachers, who invest in personal development, are opened for new challenges, are motivated to learn foreign languages, are motivated to get better effects in their educational work, strive to rise rank of preschool teacher. Project group, supervised by director prepared European Plan of Institution’s Development which takes into consideration detailed description of actions which influence on reaching identified institution’s needs, expected benefits and forms of popularizing the results of project (web site, press releases, conferences) Teachers voluntarily agreed to take part in popularizing the project and in evaluation. Actions:Thank to realizing the project the institution is going to change its profile into bilingual preschool. Due to reach the aim it is necessary to have qualified employees competent to teach early stage English. For that reason most of actions are concentrated on rising the teachers’ language qualifications by:- taking part in language courses in Poland and abroad- establishing international cooperation- searching foreign partners- using e-Twinning- getting documents confirming language competences such as Europass, Mobilność, FCE level B2. - Preparing original language program Methods:All planned actions are directed to teachers, preschoolers, parents and local society. We will reach the aims through:- creating best possible conditions allowing teachers and children immersing in foreign language in everyday situations- preparing children to use modern foreign language according to core curriculum - awakening their language awareness and cultural sensitivity- building positive motivation for learning foreign languages on further educational steps- introducing in each group at least one teacher having above mentioned necessary qualifications- introducing two qualified teachers in experimental group Teachers have chosen Great Britain as their destination considering the possibility to use English in everyday situations and using gained knowledge in practice. Course will take place in Oxford International Study Center. Expected results and benefits:- Completing language course in Great Britain by 9 teachers and receiving Europass Mobility- Rising teachers’ language competences- Using new skills in everyday work with children- Rising motivation to searching for innovative forms of improvement- Opening for multicultural- Rising self-reliance in using modern communication – informative technologies- Discovering own potential and building self esteem- Taking part in FCE exam level B2- Starting experimental group All individual benefits acquired by participant will be forwarded to children and preschool which in effect will rise its service quality. Rising our own working qualifications will develop skills of building aware and active European citizenship.
