In the project “Next Jobb Norden", 3 person from different parts of Sweden will come to Danmark as an EVS volunteer working for Föreningen Nordens Förbund/Nordjobb. The volunteers will stay for 12 months and will be working in Copenhagen and Oresund’s region with our labour market programme Nordjobb. The work tasks of the volunteer will be related to Nordjobb and include assisting the project leaders, helping on the organization of a Photo competition, celebrations of Nordjobb 30 years anniversary, workshops, school visits, contacting possible Nordjobb candidates and administrative duties. There is also room for individual initiatives and planning bigger events like seminars, camps, training courses and youth exchange programmes. In order to promote intercultural dialogue, the volunteer will also include in her planning various opportunities to share her own culture and national character through dance, music, food and language. In other words, the volunteer is not replacing any other person in the activity, but rather functioning as a compliment where both the volunteers and Nordjobb will learn from the experience. The EVS volunteer placement will provide a unique opportunity to expand knowledge of other cultures, integration, youth, non-formal learning and labour market in practice. Furthermore, the volunteer will share her new experiences upon return to native country and thus strengthen the collaboration and give birth to new forms of partnership between the two organisations involved in the project
