Our partnership launched the NiP project in an attempt to motivate young people to support the implementation of an International Audio-Visual Festival (IN THE PALACE). Our project will give opportunities of 75 young people from 15 Programme and/or Partner countries to get an inside touch of the organization and working process of the festival in Sofia, Bulgaria and its 3 main events – International Short Film Festival, Film Training (Filmer Forge) and Industry Gathering (Industry Market).Engaging as volunteers they will develop knowledge, skills and competences improving their employment prospects on the European labour market of audio-visual services and empowering their active role as citizens. The area for their involvement in the implementation of the IN THE PALACE festival will be focussed on promotion of the festival among European communities, utilizing their diverse knowledge as volunteers coming from different countries and representing different stands of relevant expertise. The target group of the project will be young professionals between 19-30 years old, who have recently graduated or are in their last year of studies in journalism, PR, graphic design and public speech. The project will allow them to express their personal and professional commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary service for 42 days in Sofia, Bulgaria.
