In the international development plan we have been identified some needs. We will start our new project on internationalisation on a smaller level by staff training abroad. The school needs to extend the European dimension and the international cooperation and we will start on success factors for school development. We need to go international and to do that we have found that we need to be trained in that direction. We want to attend a course in the Netherlands on management issues related to success factors in school development. Our partner institution is in the Netherlands and will offer us training which will be based on our needs. We wil start by exchanging documentation on organisational and on activity level. We will be able to compare our success factors to the ones on the partner institution and by doing this we will mirror our own school development. What are the success factors and how can we measure them? We need to increase our awareness and understanding for the cultural diversity in our school among staff and that will lead to an increased awareness among our children as well. We also need to be more competent and be trained for new ways of thinking in line with the international development plan. We envisage the management being exposed to this new way of thinking to go international. We want to motivate staff and to support staff in future international projects. The support from the management is important to get a positive impact and a remarkable effect in the school development. When we go international our pupils will also be involved indirectly through the internationalisation.
