New ideas - Creative Work was a training course for youth workers equipping them with knowledge and skills for working with socially excluded youth to help them organize their own Micro-businesses. The training was held in Poland in 2015 and included 20 participants from 4 European countries, the trainer-facilitator and the trainer's assistant. The participants were above 21 years old with at least 1 year experience of working with youth. The project aimed at equipping the participants with particular skills and knowledge related to the educational programs such as Street Business ToolKit and Plan for Change that deal with young people at risk of social exclusion in terms of their professional development. All activities took place in the rural area, using active methods with the participation of the local community. The project is part of a larger concept responding to the specific needs of participants, carried out using unusual, actively involving methods. With the selection of partners and preparation of innovative and professional educational program, youth workers gained useful tools to support their work with young people. The result of the project included preparing an information brochure available free of charge on the foundation webpage in Polish and English language.
