New Entrepreneurs in Rural Areas

Project "NEW ERA - New Entrepreneurs in Rural Areas" tackled the issues of youth entrepreneurship in the context of rural development and youth unemployment. The main activity of the project was Training course held in Novi Marof, Croatia, 25.4.-3.5.2015. where 31 participants from Croatia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain learn how to promote youth entrepreneurship, how to motivate investment in rural areas, how to provide proper tools for self-development of young leaders, to share best practice of entrepreneurship and to promote inter-cultural dialogue. Participants was members of youth associations, young people motivated to become young entrepreneurs. Through workshops and trainings held by trainers and experts in the field participants learned more about the topic, see concrete examples of the entrepreneurship and develope skills which will help them in their future work. The activities implemented during the training course equip participants with enough skills to start basic actions in their associations related to youth entrepreneurship in their own communities, especially in the rural areas.
