Neviditeľná rómska mládež / Invisible Roma youth

The main objective of the youth exchange is provide to participants the necessary tools to tackle social issues and argumentation in area of roma issue using the methodologies of the educational seminars, worshops and organisation of campagne against extremism in order to raise civic participation and activism of roma youth. When and where: 16th – 23th August 2015, Banska Bystrica, SLOVAKIA Organizer: QUO VADIS, Slovakia Specific objectives: • Acquaintance with technique of civic participation and activism under the guidance of expert. • Raise awareness and promote democratic values such as tolerance, respect and acceptance of differences through the workshops. • Favor the exchange of knowledge and experiences amongst the participants. • Present the different conflict situations (connected to Roma minority) and common searching for solutions with public (during the cultural festival of Roma in Banska Bystrica – Slovakia ) Acquaintance with technicque of preparing and organisation of happening Output of project will be happening on the square SNP in Banska Bystrica against extremism and raising visibility of roma new generation, which is able fight against inolerance in international context. Methodology: The methodology (non-formal education, training sessions, field visits, presentations of participants, discussions) and the structure of the training will encourage an active involvement of each participant in order to develop competences and new tools for a personal, social and professional development.
