The project intends to develop a European competence based blended learning framework for vocational training for neuroscience nurses taking into account the growing number of patients in this field and the need of qualification of the nursery staff. Target groups are: neuroscience and neurosurgery nurses and their trainers, national and European professional interest organisations and their networks. The main products to be developed in the framework of this project are: a European competence profile and European learning plan for the neuroscience nurse; training modules ,learning paths and a blended learning plan for advanced training; an implementation and valorisation plan, training materials for 11 content areas of neuroscience nursing, a digital repository. A virtual learning environment. Valorisation is planned using conferences and feedback in the development process, making publications in magazines and journals. At the end of the project presentations will be done. The project shall have an impact on the process of European standardisation in the competence profile, the products being integrated in training systems and delivery. The results should be transferable to other medical sectors. The project shall have a long term impact on the mobility of nurses and trainers.
