The project will be implemented in the years 2016-2017. The project will involve 47 teachers of Gimnazjum nr 2 im. Ziemi Wodzisławskiej in Wodzisław Śląski. The main objectives of the project:- Improving language skills- Improving computer skills to make full use of modern technology in the teaching process (Information and Communication Technology)- Learning new educational methods in order to motivate students- Increasing the number of teachers using CLIL- Learning new methods using in bilingual lessonsParticipants will take part in training in Spain (January 2017) and Malta (July 2017).The objectives are part of our European school development plan, which includes:- Professional and personal development of school staff- Increase in the number of teachers that could teach bilingual classes,- Effective use of computers in the teaching process- Broadening school's education offerThe project will have an effect on:a) participants:- Increasing professional competence- Raising the self-esteem- Increasing the employability- Gaining experience in the creation, implementation and dissemination of the results of projects funded by the European Union- Opening for transnational cooperation- Improving organizational skills- Increasing motivation for lifelong learning- Building relationships with teachers from other European countriesb) school- Supporting the European development plan- Increasing the attractiveness of teaching- Improving the competence of employees- Getting the image of a learning school being able to fully benefit from EU programsc) authority - Increasing the European dimension of subordinate institutions- Implementation of the priorities in the strategy development of Wodzisław Ślaski (Educational policy of Wodzisław Śląski is aimed to improve socially minded attitudes, support creativity and favour managing in the changeable world)d) other schools (in the town, the county and abroad with whom the school cooperates)- Inspiration to get involved in the Erasmus +The long-term benefits:- Language competence acquisition by our employees which will increase their employability- Improving the quality and effectiveness of the lessons carried out with the use of ICT - An increase in motivation among students which can lead to higher external exam results
