Project tests natural microbial processes in remediation of contaminated soil in Finland and Estonia. It gathers research-based information on the method in Southern Finland by applying the natural attenuation as a remediation method in Northern European conditions and demonstrating it in a pilot area in Hanko. Results and experience in using the method are documented for utilisation in similar cases of contaminated soil in Estonia. Target areas: Päijät-Häme, Häme and Uusimaa in Finland (and whole Estonia)
