We plan to organize placements in Cyprus & Malta because the quality of internships held there in recent years was excellent. Our partners made them interesting & consistent with the core curriculum. Practices will be held in the hotel "Kempinski" on Gozo & "Elias Beach" in Limassol. Number of trainees-46AIMS & NEEDS OF PARTICIPANTS OF TRAINING AND EFFECTS:-use of English as well as basic Maltese/Greek phrases in everyday situations. Mastery of professional English.-self-improvement, acquisition of knowledge and professional experiences-shadowing news emerging in this branch,-making youth more creative & enterprising -need to involve in various professional undertakings-need to be appreciated by employers & environmentFORESEEN RESULTS / BENEFITS IN THE LONG RUN:-considerable growth of the quality of tourist services in Cracow and the region-getting a good job on higher position or opening up a private business-developing of personality & ability to keep good interpersonal relations-being appreciated by employers and environment-overcoming stress-learning resourcefulness-acquisition of good manners during work & in private contacts-encouraging others to learn foreign languages-exchange experiences and establishing bonds of friendship will make them be mature & thus more tolerant, creative & enterprising.The school collects data about the fate of their graduates & we know who made careers who left to work abroad, where they work, who opened his own business & who choose to continue their education in college. Graduates will improve the quality of hotel services and tourism in the country, which will increase the attractiveness of the region.A good reputation will bring school, new students, new partners for cooperation & exchange of experiences (trips executives in seminars & training). Teachers will improve their professional qualifications, both in the context of vocational subjects & languages.PERIODS OF PLACEMENTS:1st group IV/V.2017. - 10 students MALTA2nd group VI. 2017. - 16 students CYPRUS3rd group IX/X. 2017. - 10 students CYPRUS4th group IV/V.2018. - 10 studentsMALTAACTIVITIES & METHODOLOGY USED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECTIn the course of the project implementation will be applied to different methods of evaluation-questionnaires, observations, interviews, tests & others. Anonymous questionnaires will be on the organizational support of school, quality of cultural & linguistic courses performed, care provided by mentors, the organization of leisure & travel. Tutors will monitor the work of the students, check the running of diaries, help to solve current problems. Monitoring of the school management of internships will include the scope & conditions of work, accommodation & respect of health, safety & sanitary regulations. These visits will provide an opportunity to get better acquainted with hotel managers who we met in previous years.There will be also interviews conducted with Maltese/Cypriot tutors on trainees' work, the progress they made, what new they learnt. The cards of students' evaluation, prepared according to ECVET (enclosure no 5), will show the progress made. They will be filled by Polish tutors & their foreign partners. After arriving in the country we will begin evaluation of internships, held by participants skills & knowledge. Vocational & English teachers, who didn't participate in the project, will check it in comparative tests. Such results will be objective. Polish employers will be asked for an opinion on the subject, too. In interviews they will share their insights on the added value & say whether they see some changes for the better in their behaviour & work such as greater creativity, boldness, activity apprentices, more efficient use of computer programs and English language at the reception, better quality of guest service, high personal culture. Before leaving young people will prepare posters to promote the Erasmus projects that during the internships will be at the reception. Students will also have badges with the logo of the program. The agenda of the visit provides for several trips, including cruise around the coast of Malta/Cyprus. Learning the history, customs & culture of the local population will give young people additional knowledge.Participants will receive internships Europass Mobility documents, certificates & references from employers & a separate certificate from the school stating the scope of activities & experiences acquired there. Trainees will prepare a multimedial presentation about their work on various posts & how they spent their free time.Both teachers & trainees participating in the project will promote the idea of practices organized in the framework of the Erasmus Programme Erasmus+ on campus & beyond-at conferences, at other schools, web portals, , media, etc .. There will be interviews, meetings online for those ones who want to know more about these internships and the program itself.
