As the latest two are the programmes which are carried out only at our school in Slovenia, we want to provide our students with high-quality education. The duration of mobility will include 10 students, 5 students each year. We would like to enable mobility for two teachers of practice in the field of eye optics. We are planning to realise the project in January and February 2016, and in January and February 2017, but the final date depends on our school schedule. This project is intended for the students of the programme for optician technicians, who will take advantage of it in many ways: individual mobility for learning can offer them new working experiences, they can gain new knowledge, qualifications and skills in the field of optics, technology, correcting devices, etc. Thus they will gain knowledge and experience which could enhance the possibilities for their future employment; furthermore they will be able to spread new experience in their environment, improve their knowledge of foreign languages and become aware of EU Citizenship. The project will be offered to ten students of the programme for optician technicians, who will be able to take part in it according to the following criteria: interests, skills and communication abilities. We would like to include students, who despite their high abilities do not have an opportunity to work and gain knowledge abroad due to their low social status. We would like to achieve the following skills: better motivation, better employment opportunities, extensive knowledge as the basis for their study in the field of optics and optometry, better communication skills and awareness of multiculturalism. We would also like to offer the project to two teachers of practical lessons, who would thus gain knowledge in the field of the latest technology in eye optics, and experiences, which could be shared among students, colleagues at school and other opticians in the country. The expected goals are: knowledge in the field of measurement of physical value of optical glass. The teacher will get to know processes of technical production of optical glass, their materials and the technology of machines and tools. He will gain knowledge in the field of polarisation and colouring of optical glass, so he will be able to prepare different patterns of colouring, he will get familiar with the structure of material from artificial mass, metal, wood and recycled materials, he will have an insight into plans for the manufacture of middle parts of correction and eye-glasses. The teacher will also get experience in the field of ordering optical glass and correction frames. Results and experiences will be presented in local newspapers (Kozjansko.info, Rogaške novice) and other media (radio, the Internet), on the school website. There will be a presentation for our students and their parents. This experience will also be presented in final grades in primary schools, and this way we could raise the interest in our school and programme for technician opticians. ECVET instruments will be shown to other schools. Potential employers will get familiar with the project via presentations on professional conferences, in the chamber of craft and small business and in professional media (Fokus). New knowledge will be included in the curriculum for the programme of technician opticians and in already existing learning material, and presented to colleagues at other schools for opticians (Croatia). Evaluation will be carried out with the help of ECVET instruments and a questionnaire for students. We will also have conversation with students; the will write their Final Evaluation. Reached goals will be seen in their journals written during the practice. The Europass Certificate will formalise gained knowledge and experiences. The teacher will prepare evaluation of his education and will present it to the colleagues opticians and to the whole school staff. Besides there will be a conversation with the head of the school.
