OBS De Koningslinde is a public primary school which will open her doors on august the 25th. We start teaching English in group 1-8. Our goal for the childrens is to train them for bilingual education. Early Bird and Pilgrims are the two organisations that will supervise us in our development. They are both trained and experienced companies. Trough this project we want our teachers to gain a higher level of education in English ( didactics and methodology ), as well as a higher level of speaking English. All our teachers followed a HBO study and are trained primary teachers. Important activities during the project: Teaching and learning foreign languages EU Citizenship, EU awareness and Democracy Pedagogy and didactics After the course we expect our teachers to be better trained to teach childrend, young learners, the English language. We will be able to work together an develop our plans to reach a higher level of teaching vvtoE. Eventually the training will lead to better teaching and better teaching will lead to better trained children with an awareness of internationalization and democracy.
