Narva Vanalinna Riigikooli personali koolituskava elluviimine
Start date: Dec 1, 2014, End date: Nov 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Narva Vanalinna State School had developed its strategy of internationalisation, the main aims of which are to create international environment in the school, support multicultural dimension, provide international experience for teachers and students, implement cross-curricula approach, develop CLIL, support students' creativity and senses of initiative and entrepreneurship, develop social partnership and active participation. In order to support achievement of these aims we organise 12 mobilities for the school management and teachers. The main topics of the international trainings for years 2014 - 2016 are tendencies in CLIL, outdoor education, improvement of fluency in foreign languages, inclusive education, project management and nonformal education. The school needs modern knowledge in these topics in order to achieve strategic aims and improve the quality of our education. The topics, places and period of trainings: "Intensive English", the UK (August 2014, August 2015 and June 2016) "Outdoor Education - Learning Different Subjects Outdoors", Czech (September 2014) "Outdoor leadership", Portugal (March 2015) "Inspiring facilitation, teaching and training", Denmark (March 2015) "CLIL methodologies in plurilingual schools", Spain (May2015) "Outdoor environmental education. Experiential approach to learning", Scotland (June 2015) "Inclusive teaching and training", Austria (June 2015) "Erasmus+ project management", Austria (Detsember 2015) "CLIL development in Germany", Germany (March 2016) The trainings take place in different countries. The teachers mostly participate individually in order to concentrate on trainings, communicate in a foreign language, develop skills of management in stressful situations and analyse own learning outcomes independently. The fact that training is planned for two years and the teachers learn individually provides that participation in the project will not disturb the teaching process at school and knowledge from trainings will be systematically implemented. The mobilities make a great impact for teachers' personal development including improvement of their competences: fluency in English or German, experience of international cooperation, dealing with challenges, problem solving, stress management, flexibility, sense of initiative, curiosity and creativity. The training outcomes are to be used in the following processes: management, strategic planning, school internationalisation, curriculum modernisation, teaching quality, usage of modern methods and planning of teaching process.
