EAEA will target the EU, national & regional policy levels and the AE grassroots level.Members are regularly asked to contact their national, regional or local government to advocate for various AE topics. Members are pro-active and many good results allow EAEA to increase its impact on all levels, as MEPs listen to their national level. EAEA distributes “member’s news” to the network twice a month and “general news” to interested stakeholders 6 times per year. Members are informed and consulted on important issues and contribute to the preparation and execution of activities. The annual membership survey provides the necessary feedback to develop the next work plan. The country reports have proven to feed additional topics and members' contributions.EAEA’s management system reflects our democratic structure. The Executive Board prepares the main strategies and the direction of the association. At the General Assembly, members discuss these strategies and adopt them. The Secretary General is responsible for the management and implementation of the work plan and for all operational tasks within the strategies set by the Board and is supported by staff in two offices, Brussels & Helsinki. EAEA will use an integral multimedia approach in promoting its activities & distributing its results: electronic newsletters, briefings, online questionnaires, press releases, policy papers, statements, social media activities and website info. The EAEA website, as well as EAEA´s Facebook & Twitter are well-known in the AE sector for providing regular and on time information about European & other developments of relevance to AE.
