The work programme (WP) 2015 forms the 1st year of the 3 year plan outlined in section C2c.3 Themes will be initiated in 2015 that form the basis of the 3 year Plan, focusing the work of EOSE and its national members on activity to support: >Modernisation and change of sector qualifications and VET in line with EQF/NQF >Enhanced Learning Mobility in sport >Recognition of non-formal and informal learning (NFIL) in sportIn line with EU policy on employment, education and sport, the WP is also articulated in the work of DGEAC Sport (integration of sport qualifications with the development of national systems linked to EQF and the recognition of NFIL in sport). This WP builds on EOSE expertise (7 Step Model) and has been informed by its recent Feasibility Studies on learning mobility (2013) and Sector Skills Council (2014).AIM: To enhance the skills of the workforce of professionals and volunteers in sport by creating a sustainable mechanism to work together to implement lifelong learning using common tools (developed by EOSE and aligned with EU initiatives), to develop and share best practice and support learning mobility.METHODOLOGY1. Build expertise and capacity of EOSE members -Provide support and training to enable them to lead and facilitate the change2. Enable EOSE to provide leadership for the sector as it strives to modernise VET: -Expand network of members -Deliver a dissemination programme to support the work and broaden its impact -Be active at EU level to share good practice across the sector and on a cross-sector basis3. Provide a focus for the implementation of EU education and employment policy in the sector -Work with and through our members to bring together key stakeholders in the sector to create a new forum for dialogue at national and European level -Work on the recognition of NFIL - Promote and support demand for learning mobilitySUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES>Capacity building activities to enable members to act as national facilitators and agents of change, and to develop trans-national projects>A series of national round table events led by EOSE members to bring together targeted sector stakeholders to create a forum for dialogue on skills and enable further cascading of information>A series of initiatives with EOSE as a catalyst: - Consultation to create the conditions for sport to benefit from learning mobility opportunities - New and consultation work on the recognition of NFIL (cross-sector) - A special ESSC Development Info Day> Comprehensive dissemination and awareness raising programme supported by a cascade model (published and online fact-sheets, policy briefings, website and social media).TARGET GROUPS External: • Policy makers and representative organisations from the sector at EU and national level - Employers, Employees, Students, Volunteers, Olympic Committees, Sport NGOs, Sport Federations, Sport Ministry, Education Providers - to create consultative and dissemination network • Representative organisations from outside the sector Internal:• EOSE members and partnersOverall, the WP is designed to enhance the impact at national and European level by strengthening the role of our members at national level, building partnerships with key stakeholders to efficiently disseminate, engage and deliver activities based on the 7 Step Model. It builds upon strategic partnerships to ensure a wide impact and buy-in of the sector as well as a cross sector fertilisation.
