My best idea
Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project aims on getting teachers to use an interdisciplinary approach for finding strategies to develop creativity and entrepreneurship among students, 10-16 years. The entrepreneurship should be directed towards smart, sustainable and inclusive development based on an ecological and social perspective. Each three country/region in this project has unique quality that provides opportunities to create new knowledge and good practice in the field. Sweden is specialized on entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship, Latvia – interdisciplinary subject teaching and learning and Italy- Personal Digital portfolio for students. Each region consists of one municipality, one school and one pedagogic organisation. The project is based on two “legs”, sharing good practice and undertake common teacher training. It is important that these two legs “melt” together so that what you learn at the teacher training is something that you practice in the classroom and then sharing your experience with other participant’s. This will be done in a common blog. The blog will then be a space for collegial learning. The result will be a ”virtual toolbox" containing written materials, videos, photos, articles and others. The toolbox will be launched on the internet and free for use. The box could be in use for other teachers that need to develop their skills in these topics. The evaluation of the project will be done by questionnaires and interviews under supervision of Doctor Kristina Hansson. Each partner will take an active part in this. The main goal of the project is to get better skilled teacher using an interdisciplinary approach for finding strategies to develop creativity and entrepreneurship among students and that will lead to young people that are entrepreneurs and more creative who themselves can create the new jobs that we will need in the future.
