In this project the cooperation of the Szeged – Belvárosi Roman Catholic Presbytery and Cultural and Educational Center Thurzó Lajos will be realized. As supporter the Academy of Arts from Novi Sad takes part in the project and the parish Hearth of Jesus from Senta.The state of the cultural heritage in the border area is demolished. The inhabitants can spend always less and less to the cultural activities. The artisans have less and less opportunities for the performances. There is a small number of high quality instruments, concert halls and exercise halls. The state of education is becoming lower and inhabitants of the region are less familiar with the cultural values. The intense of the cooperation is below the possibilities for potential cooperation.Our project is targeted to the inhabitants of the border region, that is susceptible to the cultural values but their cultural facilities are limited, but this project has positive effects to the students of music, teachers, artisans and spiritual and cultural institutions.We will realize the possibilities for the following activities:For the familiarization of the values of the border region through the programs beside the organ – from the organ.In order to improve the musical education and the cultural life the organ in the church Heart of Jesus in Senta will be reconstructed. In votive church in Szeged the means for the realization of the education programs will be realized. For the artisans master courses will be organized. The young artisans facilities for performances will be supported on the both sides of the border.We will realize more cultural events for the widening of the cultural programsThe cultural relations between the communities will be strengthened by organ courses and meetings of cantors. Achievements: The organ is called the king of musical instruments because it is the largest and produces the loudest and most powerful sound. The organ boasts a substantial repertoire, which spans many centuries. Because organs are commonly found in churches and synagogues, sacred music comprises a significant part of the organ repertoire. Yet, the organs secular repertoire is also prominent and includes preludes, fugues, sonatas, organ symphonies, suites, and transcriptions of orchestral works. This project aimed to present the values of the border region through programmes promoting the organ. They organised different types of events, such as educational programmes, lectures, master classes for artists, organ courses, concerts, a meeting of cantors, and the traditional Church Music Festival in Senta with the new organ. In order to improve musical education and cultural life, the partners reconstructed the organ in the Church of Heart of Jesus in Senta. Besides a number of public performances in Szeged and Senta, the project also hosted a performance of choirs; the International meeting of Cantors—Without Borders continued the cycle of the Sunday Evening Prayer. Over the course of a year and a half, significant efforts and work were invested in an educational programme and practice. The partner organisations jointly prepared a series of interactive presentations and lectures about the functions of the organ and the music potential of the reconstructed organ in Senta.
