The main project objective is to support cross-border development processes with a focus on minimizing barriers for the disabled to access the cultural goods.The project activities include diagnosis of the status of architectural and educational accessibility of Polish museums to the disabled, educational and training activities to disseminate knowledge on provision of service to the disabled, construction and operation of internet platform called Museums without Barriers in Polish and Ukrainian, organizing and fitting out an Academy educating museum staff in provision of service to the disabled and formation of a coalition of the Polish and Ukrainian museums.The project shall result in increased accessibility of museums to the disabled in the border areas and in improved qualifications of the personnel to provide better educational services for the disabled in the field of culture.
