The objective of the project is to promote cultural heritage in cross-border area of Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. To enhance the competences of the museum staff, develop a common tourism product of museums and improve the basic infrastructure and museum expositions, as well as to develop and implement the marketing activities. Expected Results: In order to achieve their goals, the project partners will train 52 persons working in various museums of the regions on the subjects of creative thinking, composition of expositions, rules of visual communication, basic rules of economic activities, information and communication technologies, marketing of tourism products, and training of tour guides. The expositions and infrastructure of 19 museums in Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus will be improved. Also, 1 new tourism route will created and promoted, joining the museums of the regions. It will be then presented to the wide audience and tourists through the means of a book, a map and a brochure in 6 languages.
