From July 21 to 31, 2016, the Youth House of Hannut will host the 7th edition of an exchange project called "Murs-Murs” (what means “Walls-Walls") bringing together forty young people from Belgium, France, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Palestine.This meeting, hosted in English and French, will be organized around the general theme of walls, real or symbolic, faced by adolescents in the world (difficulties, imigration...), and will focus more specifically on issues related to the media influence on the perception of migration. Murs-Murs has the ambition te meeting of the other, the democratic debate, the ideas confrontation and the citizen training. For 10 days, the young people of different countries will speak, exchange during valuable informal moments and will share their experiences through testimonials and debates. Various workshops also will take participants to develop one or more artistic achievements (dance, theater, painting ...) or media (videos, newspaper ...) giving them the opportunity to learn new skills and express their views in respect of project themes.These achievements will be show in public during a closing event, organized and promoted by the young - with the help of the Youth House of Hannut and the Federation of Youth Houses -.The purpose of this project is based on two objectives : firstly, bringing the young citizen to adopt a position critically, reasoned and built, and secondly, the sustainability of this project by opening it to new young people.
