Multiple Sclerosis Seminar "Youth Connections"
Start date: Jan 1, 2008,

Multiple Sclerosis Seminar "Youth Connections" is a project destined to young people affected by multiple sclerosis, and it is based on two major components: 1.development of ability for the young people with multiple sclerosis for an active citizenship in the community; 2.equality of chances for social inclusion for the young people with multiple sclerosis. Through these project activities, we intend to encourage more young people affected by this disease to be involved in the Romanian Multiple Sclerosis Society branches from all over the country, and to motivate them to become more involved and to care more for this cause. The expected outcomes of the Multiple Sclerosis Seminar "Youth Connections" will be: to improve the level of involvement of the young people affected by multiple sclerosis within the local communities, and to stimulate the local and central public authorities to sustain and encourage the youth to participate actively within the community. The Romanian Multiple Sclerosis Society partner within the project, European Youth Parliament in Romania, will assure the European dissemination and promotion of the project and will sustain one of the follow-up activities.
