Multikulturní historie a současnost Sudet 2016

The aim of the project is to realize 5 long term European voluntary services in 4 organizations active in the Czech-German cooperation. All hosting organizations work with the theme of multicultural history and present of the Sudetenland – a Czech area, which were inhabited mostly by ethnic Germans expelled from Czechoslovakia after the Second World War, the perception of this part of history by the contemporary society. The project includes 2 Czech volunteers who will be sent to a twelve month mobility of European Voluntary Service to German organizations Junge Aktion der Ackermann-Gemeinde in Munich and Ackermann-Gemeinde in Würzburg, and 3 German volunteer who will be sent to a twelve month mobility of European Voluntary Service to the NGOs Antikomplex and Sdružení Ackermann-Gemeinde in Prague. The project is aimed mainly at improving of intercultural competencies of participants and their ability to actively participate in civil society.
