motion and communication initiatives on the quality and traceability of wine products from Slovenia and Eastern Veneto. (PRO.VITE)

The project aims at enhancing the wine products of the cross-border area with tourist promotional initiatives involving the wine products from Slovenia and Eastern Veneto. Promotion is carried out among Venetian restaurants by setting up a promotion point at Venice Marco Polo airport. Activities are carried out thanks to the cooperation with several economic categories, such as restaurant and hotel managers. This initiative envisages a final consumer-oriented communication focusing on the quality of production and the systems of wine traceability, thus fostering the consumption of these wines in cross-border restaurants and the association of wine with other typical local products, for example cheese. Morevoer, the promotional campaign intends to support and improve marketing and distribution of quality wine products from the Eastern Veneto and Slovenian territories. Finally, the consumers communication and perception, even of a social nature, of the wine product can be improved, and the population can be made aware of the need to respect the environment and of topics such as sustainable growth and conservation of the territory.
