The overall objective of project MALESH is to promote the preservation and restoration of the biodiversity on the territory of the border Malashevska Mountain in order to increase attractiveness and improve the quality of life in the common cross-border region. Achievements: • Implemented Contact Meeting in Bulgaria for the establishment of a Partnership Network of existing environmental stakeholders of Bulgaria and FYROM • Implemented Discussion forum Maleshevska mountain – past, present and future• Carried out series of school meetings in the target cross-border regions of Bulgaria and FYROM• Developed Interactive Map of Species to promote Biodiversity of the Maleshevska Mountain• Prepared and distributed promotional stickers to promote the preservation of rare and typical Maleshevia SpeciesThe project was successfully implemented in February, 2014.
