We are Sports Middle and Primary School with Integrated Divisions. Primary school consists of regular classes, sports classes and classes for students with special needs. Middle School includes sport classes and European classes. The school is located in a small town called Radlin. There are 28 primary school and 9 middle school divisions. There are also over 90 teachers employed. We have many strengths (sports, educational, artistic and integrated). They are all accommodated in the school work idea for the years 2013-2017. Priorities of the school development are compatible with the assumptions of our project and they concern the improvement of language competence, integration and equalization of educational opportunities of the special needs students and the development of sports abilities. So far we have taken part in many European Union projects (eg. Comenius, e-Twinning projects). It has had a very positive influence on the versatile development both students and teachers. However we are also aware of our weaknesses. Participation in the Erasmus+ project will help us decline and eliminate our Achilles' heels. We would like to optimally develop skills and abilities of both our students and teachers. Most of the employees look to training courses and the improvement of their language competence. Taking it into account we hope to raise the professional qualifications of our staff according to ACTION 1 in the Erasmus+ project. After having trained the staff, we would like to run the project under the e-Twinning, ACTION 2 in the Erasmus+ project. It will help us equalize and increase educational opportunities of our students.The aim of them project:- The continuous improvement of abilities connected with the occupation profile of our employees (education, training);- The achievement of better quality in the field of work and activities that would be beneficial to students;- The development of understanding and sensitivity to social, language and cultural variety;- The improvement of language competences of both teachers and students;- The improvement of the abilities of professional development;- The enlargement of motivation and satisfaction with everyday teaching tasks.The participants of the Project and the main actions connected with mobilities:1. Two teachers of English – participation in three methodology courses.2. Five teachers – participation in language courses combined with CLIL.3. Three teachers- participation in language courses including ICT.4. One teacher- participation in ICT skills course.5. The management group (the head teacher and the secretary) – language courses including ICT.Selected activities and methodology used for the purpose of the project:1. The analysis of individual needs of the participants of the project and its description on the form of achieving goals; the supervision of the form during the courses.2.The use of knowledge and observation abilities among the participants for the purpose of creating the form of recommendation concerning the changes that should be carried out in order to achieve long-lasting effects.3. Working out of introducing the plan of the pedagogical, methodological, organizational and other solutions that will foster the implementation of the European plan of the development of our school.Expected results and the influence of the project:1. Improvement of language skills of all participants of the project that will enable:- forming of the bilingual class; - accomplishment of educational innovation in early school age;- further abroad education or using foreign language methodology publications;- improving language competence;- preparation for running the e-Twinning projects;- strengthening of international cooperation and engaging all of the school community (teachers, students, parents);- improvement of communication skills and the abilities to cooperation in an international group; -creation of the educational online platform for students attending sports competition;- preparations for taking part in ACTION 2 in the Erasmus+ project;2. Raising methodological qualifications of English language teachers;3. Introducing new teaching methods with the use of new teaching tools;4. Putting the case for the PODN to run language courses;5. Increasing language competence of the students;6. Improving exam results;7. Mastering the teaching schedule;- having the ability of using ICT,- using the acquired knowledge in practice.8. Meeting different European cultures, customs and history;Potential long-lasting benefits:1. Uprating the quality of the educational offer of the school.2. Raising the quality of international cooperation, increasing self-evaluation and motivation among both students and teachers.3. Deepening the attitude of global outlook, respect, tolerance and support for other people. 4. Enhancing European dimension of our school and the school community.
