The Business School Varaždin as an applicant organisatin for Erasmus+ projekt under Key Action 1 and Vitalis Betreuungsgesellschaft für Modellprojekte mbH as their partner organisation have designed a mobility project entitled: "Modernization of training firms and the development of digital competences"The main objectives of the project are to improve the quality and efficiency of the economic vocational teaching and to increase its attractiveness and importance, to increase the quality and competences of the school teachers that run training firms, business foreign language and the school principal at all levels of education, to develop the level of key competences and skills of the staff and the students through international mobility, to improve the international level of education and training, to improve the knowledge of a foreign language and to gain cultural awareness which consequently might make students more competitive in the labour market and more capable of carrying out independent entrepreneurial activities.The project involves 15 students and 8 members of the staff of the Business School Varaždin .The students to be involved in the vocational training in Vitalis company File Maker pro will get an insight into the information technology based business in the fields of trade, financial operations, marketing, accounting and tourism, will be acquainted with the company activities and employees, will be introduced to various working tasks and operations as well as to business letters and forms, and finally will help and take part in the implementation of the company work tasks.During workshops and visits to institutions related to the education of entrepreneurs and economists the school staff, in cooperation with Vitalis, will be acquainted with the German Eeducations system and teaching methods, as well as with the ways in which theory is connected with and put into practice. In the meantime, there will be paid visits to the Saxon Agency for Education- regional office Leipzig, Practical Training Centre „ZAV“ GmbH-Zentrum für Aus- und Weiterbildung“, The educational center of the Saxonian commerce – „Bildungszentrum des Sächsischen Handelns“, School ASG-Bildungszentrum Leipzig, The Euro-Schools-ESO in Halle.The students will be involved in a 21-day vocational training, while the school staff will get a 7-day training.The outcomes of the above mentioned mobility project for students will be to acquire new vocational knowledge and skills in the fields of economy and entrepreneurship at the international, European level, to improve their language competences and acquire new attitudes towards work. Consequently, this will improve their personal development, increase employability and management in the international labour market.Concerning the staff of the Business School Varaždin, the project will result in the increase of professional competences in teaching and school management according to the European standards of the economic vocational education, inventiveness in teaching and improvement of the quality of teaching and training of young economists, shop-assistants and entrepreneurs.During dissemination activities, organisations at sectoral, reginal and national level will be introduced to the project which will increase the interest in economic education and contribute to the understanding of European efforts to improve economic situation and employability.
