The objective is to create a system for energy-efficient and ecological friendly management of public lighting in the area along Croatian - Slovenian border, by applying modern lighting technologies with modern information and telecommunication technologies. Expected Results: Five municipal partners will get modern GIS system upgraded with an appliction which calculates reduction of consumption of electrical energy and CO2 emissions of public lighting, in real time and all municipalities will get a collection of recommendation on how to improve system of public lighting for increasing quality, and reducing of pollution – emissions of CO2.
