The project “MobiVETRO 2015” aims to enlarge culturally sensitive knowledge and skills, of 14 vocational teachers, trainers and educators, about similarities and differences in profiles of occupations in worked based initial vocational training and apprenticeship curricula of "vacancy occupations" in Germany and Poland e.g. hairdresser, baker, bakery sales assistant, confectioner, confectionery sales assistant, qualified employees in the hotel and restaurant industry and chefs (Qualification level "Upper secondary education" ISCED 3B) . From August 2015 the national project plan "MobiPro-EU" will give additional financial help to up to 2.000 young people from the whole European Union to support the completing of a 3 years worked based vocational training (apprenticeship) in Germany (20 young polish people in the region of Hanover) . For the project MobiVETPro 2015 invited are vocational trainers, instructors and apprenticeship stakeholder representing different trades and gastronomy professions of SMEs and participants and collaborators of the whole strukture in the Hanover region. That shall contribute to the lack of apprentices and skilled workers, specialists and qualified employees in Germany. In addition it shall cut the high rate of youth unemployment in the origin regions from August 2015 on in the district of Starachowice/Poland (30.06.2014 = 17,9 %) and from August 2016 on in the district of Chania/Greece (30.06.2014 = ca. 43%). The methodology includes common conferences, single and group work, company exploration, cooperative professional discussions to be continiued in informell meetings after the official programm ended. In total the project aims at modernising and internationalising SME-Companies in the field of trade and gastronomie with a lack of apprentices and skilled workers. It shall focus on the possibility to employ people from EU-Countries with social-economical difficulties to provide people in that countries an additional positive life perspective. In addition 3 SME apprentices from gastonomie sector on the end of their first training year will complete a 4 week placement in the kitchen and restaurant of the Orthodox Academy of Crete to enlarge the knowledge and skills in their vocational training in various fields e.g. mediterranean cuisine, foreign language skills and intercultural tollerance.
