Mobilny uczeń - praktyki zawodowe we Włoszech i Niemczech

The project “A mobile student – apprenticeship in Italy and Germany” refers to 40 students of a vocational technical school at Secondary School No. 3 in Tomaszów Lubelski, in speciality of a hospitality technician and a catering services organisation technician, at the age of 18. The students will have a two-week practice in hotels and places with catering services in Rimini in Italy and in Berlin in Germany. The training session will be held in two groups, 20 students in each group, in 2015 (September/October) and in 2016 (April/May). Mobility of students is the main aim of the project. It gives the students the possibility of gaining professional experience in another country thanks to acquisition of skills and knowledge adapted to job market’s needs and it enables them quick finding their ways into a job market after graduating from their high school. The participation in the project is supposed to motivate the students to the further education, on higher levels, contrary to family and material difficulties, to gaining knowledge about living and working conditions abroad, to improving independence in moving on a job market, to increase working and living aspirations. The project aims also in promoting of language and general learning. The project’s participants are students of third classes of vocational technical school, coming from small villages and towns in the eastern part of Poland, on the board with Ukraine. They are at risk of social excluding due to economic difficulties in their families and low motivation to social activities and to adapt to socio-economic changes in contemporary Europe. Scheduled activities are aimed at improving professional situation of the participants in a job market by raising the level of key competences and skills, by promoting of language and general learning, especially thanks to increased opportunities of mobile education; supporting the creation of European area of a life lasting learning, resulting in better use of European transparency and recognition tools and in spreading good practises as well as in increasing awareness about this area; expanding the international dimension of education and training, in particular through cooperation between institutions involved in the program and institutions of partner countries in the field of professional education and training. The project will contribute to the students’ acquisition of specific technical, language and interpersonal skills. The students will gain qualifications, professional experience, experience in contacts with an employer and skills of team working. The acquitted knowledge will be confirmed with a certificate “Europass-Mobility” and a certificate confirming the use of an ECVET procedure. The project will contribute to the improving of professional education quality, increasing of the students’ motivation to the active creation of their career, increasing of competences of staff involved in preparation and realisation of the project and it will allow the school to be the main professional training centre in the region.
