Project ”Mobile IT Technician – practical training abroad for future opportunities” involves taking part in practical training sessions organized in German companies. Participants will be able to expand their vocational/professional knowledge in a real work environment of various German firms. The project will be carried out on the basis of school partnership between Zesół Szkół Elektryczno – Elektronicznych in Radomsko and Elektronikschule in Tettnang, the latter of which is responsible for organizing the practical training. The project is aimed at the 3rd year students whose areas of profession are IT, ICT, and advertising and whose yearly schedule involves practical training. It is going to be a group of forty students who will begin the training sessions in two turns. Project goals: • Fulfilling goals stated in school curriculum • Expanding students’ professional knowledge concerning modern technologies • Making graduates more suitable for the job market • Shaping personal characteristics and features necessary in the area of the modern market • Creating flexible access to training sessions and qualifications • Honing technical German language skills • Promoting international learning mobility • Making school offer attractive for students • Continuation of a 13 year cooperation between ZSE-E Radomsko and EST Tettnang Description of stages: Phase/Stage 1: preparation Popularization of the idea of professional training abroad, agreeing on the specific time/dates and places with the German partner, creating a detailed plan of the event, making an itinerary, language and cultural training of the group Phase 2: The project completion Taking part in a 3 week professional training under the supervision of teachers, presentation of the results during a ceremony summarizing the event, handing out certificates confirming the completion of the training and acquiring new skills Phase3: evaluation and archivisation of results Drawing up a project summary, filling in the final reports by students, handing in Europass Mobility certificates, sharing the results with the school community and other local communities or media, project evaluation The participants will gather additional experience in their specific areas of expertise, for example IT. The Europass Mobility certificates that they receive will be a substantial asset to their future resumes as they confirm both good language and work skills. The participants will also use modern utility computer programmes and professional hardware. The students will hone their interpersonal and adaptive skills, especially by working in groups operating in an unknown working environment. They will learn how to organize their working space/environment. Additionally, they will find out a lot about the way German companies work. The students will raise their self-esteem and improve their public image. They will also improve their public image, their self-presentation skills and they will become reliable and independent employees. During the preparatory German language course they are going to hone their language abilities, especially in the area of IT, ICT and other related subjects. The project is going to promote multiregional cooperation and our school among potential applicants. It will help our graduates become more desireable workers for both local and international employees. The participants will greatly improve their working abilities and their German language skills, which is going to be confirmed with certificates. They will also be able to cooperate with German employees which may help them find better future employment. The practical training will motivate them to initiate their own self-development. They will also adapt new working standards in their workplace. Additionally, German employees will observe how Polish standards tend to be implemented in various workplaces.
