Mobilność zawodowa – kluczem do sukcesu na europejskim rynku pracy

The project „Occupational mobility – a key to success on the European labour market” is based on organizing an apprenticeship for a period of 2 and 3 weeks in Spain for the students of the Secondary School Complex of Food Industry in Bydgoszcz. The project is to be realized within the period from 01.08.2016 to 31.07.2018. There shall be 4 editions of the programme within this period and in every edition 15 students shall be taking part. The total number of students taking part in the project is 60 and the total number of supervisors is 8 (2 for each group).For the participation in the apprenticeship training in Spain the students from third and fourth class of the courses: technician of food technology and technician of logistics shall be recruited. The defined language for the training in Spain will be the English language. The apprenticeship is to be preceded by a cultural-language and psychological preparation. The students shall take part in the language courses: English language course and basic Spanish language course (the preparation will be continued in Spain) considering the vocabulary directly referring to the professional environment. All the students will take the opportunity of the language consultancy while applying to the apprenticeship training and also of the on-line courses on the platform of the European Commission. Additionally, the students applying for the apprenticeship will take part in a training consisting of the basics of the intercultural communication that will be provided also during the apprenticeship. As an addition to the initial phase a psychological preparation will be organized that shall help the students dealing with stress, separation and the new situation. The entity in charge of the preparation and realization of the apprenticeship training in Spain is Europroyectos Erasmus Plus. The choice of the Spanish partner was dictated by an extensive experience in conducting similar projects as well as its access to the local companies from the SME sector that guarantees a proper selection of the entities for the trainees. Also the positive opinions of the institutions taking benefit from the support of this entity in previous years influenced the choice of this partner. The project assumes reaching the second level with the elements of the third level of the European Professional Qualifications by the participants. This will be possible due to the consolidation of the professional experience of the participants gained during the apprenticeships in the country before their journey to Spain with the skills gained during the foreign apprenticeship. In order to ensure supervision and safety of the trainees an apprenticeship supervisor is planned. The methodology of the project assumes setting educational and professional targets for every participant and adjusting the individual training programme to the tasks resulting from the project targets as well as monitoring of their progress in achieving the professional and language qualifications. The main target of the project is increasing the professional potential of the participants, supporting their multinational mobility and increasing the practical language skills. The specific objectives consist of: - Foreign apprenticeship for 60 students- Gaining experience and developing professional qualifications - Developing English language skills and learning the basics of the Spanish professional language by 60 students- Learning the culture and customs of the Spanish society by the participants - Getting acquainted with labour expectations and European structure of the labour market- Promoting the labour mobility of the students within the European market- Developing the social competences of the participants.The project shall apply to the students gaining their professional development and shall increase the attractiveness of their education by creating the possibility of taking part in a foreign apprenticeship that will introduce them to the European Labour Market. Taking part in the apprenticeship shall increase their knowledge and contribute to the development of their professional qualifications. The foreign apprenticeship shall prepare the participants to work in the multinational environment and the contact with new technologies and solutions shall enable transferring the experience and innovations to the local enterprises. The apprenticeships shall contribute to increasing the social competences of the participants and improving their adaptability. Promoting the project in the local environment shall increase interest in the European mobility among the students of the vocational schools in the region.
