The Project called: "Mobility of students of Technical Secondary School of Hairdressing Services and Technical Secondary School of Construction - the key to success" was financed by the European Union in connection with the implementation of the FRSE Vocational education and training Erasmus + Programme, Action KA1 - Mobility of learners and workers. The project was implemented by the Complex of Technical Secondary Schools No. 2 in Końskie, Poland. The partner institution was Vitalis Betreuungsgesellschaft Schkeuditz für Modellprojekte company which main aim is to increase mobility on the European labor market. The company specializes in organizing professional apprenticeships for students of technical and vocational education as well as vocational or general teachers’ training trips. The project was implemented over a period of 1st June 2015 to 31st May 2016. In preparation for the Project, participants going for vocational training were provided with the support in the field of pedagogical support (5 hours), culture (5 hours) and the professional German language training (60 hours).During the period from 3rd April 2016 to 16th April 2016, 20 students (including two groups of 10 people) from 2nd and3rd year of Technical Secondary School of Hairdressing Services and Technical Secondary School of Construction took apprenticeship in Germany. During the training in Germany, as a part of the cultural program, students took trips to Berlin and Leipzig. Young people in Germany were provided local transportation, accommodation, meals, care of two teachers from the school and attractive forms of spending free time. The whole project was managed by a coordinator. Professional Practice Project Erasmus + enabled our students of Technical Secondary School of Hairdressing Services and Technical Secondary School of Construction to use substantive knowledge and skills in real-life conditions on the labor market and gave them knowledge of German technologies and materials. The project provided young people with direct contact with the German language, not only in professional situations but also in everyday life. The youths initiated contacts with peers from other countries. Students were introduced to the German cities, economy, history, customs and culture. The project was also a respond to the difficult job situation in the district of Końskie . Its realization increased our students' chances of finding a job in the profession, not only in Poland but also abroad, which will be compatible with their qualifications. Students gained information about working conditions, techno – didactic base and the use of innovation in German factories. The priority of the Project was the use of modern tools in the form of Certificates: Mobility, Language Passport and ECVET system. The youths received additional certificates issued by the school confirming participation in professional German language training (vocabulary in the field of hairdressing and construction according to the direction of education), cultural and pedagogical support participation certificates as well as certificates confirming the participation in professional apprenticeship and certificate with an individual opinion of our project partner. The documents were issued in accordance with international requirements (in the bilingual Polish and German form). The documents used in the Project are for students confirmation of language knowledge as well as the confirmation of skills and qualifications they acquired during the professional practice in Germany. The effects of the Project are important not only for the participants but also for school managers, teachers working in the Project, local employers and the the partner institution. Teachers gained knowledge of the German system of vocational training, they also gained experience in the implementation of the FRSE Erasmus + Project and the use of ECVET system. Thanks to the implementation of the Project, our partner institution gained a new experience in the field of international cooperation with Technical Secondary School of Hairdressing Services and Technical Secondary School of Construction. The effects of the Project were examined by means of evaluation questionnaires and reports. At the end of the Project there was a conference held during which students received the following certificates: participation in professional apprenticeship in Germany, Europass Mobility Certificate and Europass Language Passport Certificate and they were certified to participate in preparatory pedagogical, cultural and linguistic classes. The expected results of the Project are appreciation of the practical dimension of learning in the form of foreign professional apprenticeships, increase of international mobility of young people on the European labor market, improving the organization of vocational training and increase the opportunities for technical graduates for employment on the European labor market.
