The overall aim of the “Mobile Technicians” project is to raise the qualifications, develop the key competences and work skills of 40 students of the Staszic Complex of Schools in Staporkow who specialize to be IT technicians and logistics technicians. The project will help them understand the way modern foreign companies are organized, increase their chances of finding jobs at local and European job markets, and develop their abilities to communicate in the foreign language using professional vocabulary as well as colloquial language. The students will take part in a 26-day traineeship in November and December 2016. The journey will take another two days. There will be three teachers accompanying the students. The participants will acquire their job experience in foreign companies, make new friends and connections, learn how European companies work and are organized. What is more, they will learn about work standards and coordination in foreign firms. Such active participation will enrich the students' knowledge and skills and it will raise their job competences. The traineeship will be accompanied by the cultural programme supporting language learning and building multicultural awareness.As a result of the project the students will get several documents confirming their progress, i.e. the Europass Mobility, the ECVET document (European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training), the traineeship certificates and individual assessment cards. Other important outcomes of the project will be getting new qualifications and developing work skills that increase the chances of the participants in the work market. The students will learn how to work in a team, make friends at work, use expressions specific for their future jobs. They will increase their motivation for the further development, they will learn about the culture of the country they will visit. Also, they will develop their personal competences, such as self-confidence and be able to build their personal brands. Implementation of this project will make it possible for both partner organizations to increase their ability to act on international level. They will be more aware of the international system of education, more efficient at organizing and managing apprenticeships. Finally, the qualifications of their staff members will grow significantly.
