Mobilitou ke zvýšení úrovně výuky na VOŠ a SPŠ Šumperk
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The formation of the project:We have decided to implement this project for many reasons. Firstly, we would like to experience the atmosphere of the country whose language we have studied for such a long time and hear the language as it is used in this setting. We would like to walk the places connected with the country’s history , culture and traditions. We want to immerse ourselves in study in the company of like-minded people and above all to improve our language skills. Then have a talk with the same keen teachers and hear about the everyday worries, pleasures and concerns, which we all have, from their perspective and from that deepen our insight into the things that bind us to a common European experience and feeling of solidarity. The aims of the project:The chosen teachers will improve their key qualifications and skills which are necessary to teaching of the relevant languages (English, German, Spanish). On methodical - language course the teachers will improve practical language and also acquire new teaching methods and tools for better teaching and motivation of students.Support for multilingual teaching - improvement of the quality and competition of our schools in a time of general shortage of students. The formation of new personal contacts with other teachers in European countries.Improvement of social, language and cultural understanding and the ability to react. The teachers’ stay in European countries will lead to student´s awareness of EU citizenship, rights and duties in the EU, the possibility of studying and working in the EU. We will use educational methods and experiences from quality language schools in techanig students and also in the organization and education of teachers conducted at our school. The number and profile of the chosen teachers:Our school will send 11 teachers to take part in language or language-methodology courses organized by European language schools (English, German and Spanish languages)The teachers are age- and language-diversified so that the needs of the organization from the language point of view are covered. The age of the teachers ranges from 29 to 56 years old. The teachers are fully-qualified (Spanish is a new language in our school and is taught by one of the English teachers). The teachers have been educated on a long -term basis through DVPP. Knowledge of foreign languages among members of the school management is necessary in view of the need to communicate with other schools in the EU, for the cooperation within the international context. Knowledge of a professional/technical foreign language is essential for the sustainability of quality teaching.A description of these activities:Individual language and cultural preparation (09/2016- 06/2017)Language courses (09/2016 - 08/2018) - MobilityPromotion of the Mobility outcomes – articles in the press, on websites, in the annual report, presentation for the school employees, the students, the parents of studentsThe formation of study materials – workbook – for classes, knowledge of life in those countries, photos to motivate the students.
