Activity 1 This project aims at giving an impulse to European and international exchanges by giving an added value to their training through an innovative project. It will concern 6 students from the Food Processing Industry Department and Fashion Department. The choice of Ireland has been determined by the fact that Bègles was twinned with Bray. A meeting between the staff of the school and Bègles Fraternité has enabled us to agree on some important points : - the students will be selected according to the motivation and seriousness they have shown during their various learning and training sessions, and a video in English - the students from both depatments will have a four week work experience (November 24th – December 20th). - necessity to contact an organization specialized in mobility project because of the administrative problems met by The twinning Committee in Bray to get a PIC. We were recommended to ask Alaymont International by a representative of Bègles Fraternité who was attending our meeting. After several mails and phone calls we agreed to cooperate and be in charge of the following actions : Vaclav Havel School will be in charge of : - the travel - the selection of the trainees - informing the students , their families and all the members of the school implied in the project as soon as the results of our submission are known - the linguistic support to give the participants the necessary means to a successful integration in their daily and professional life - sending all the documents needed by Alaymon -checking hat the students get the documents necessary to their mobility The partner Alaymont International will be in charge of - the participants from their arrival in Dublin airport to their transfer to the airport for their departure - placement of the trainees in appropriate families and work placement - language course and cultural programme prior to their work placement -assignement of a mentor as a support service and a tutor in their company to guarantee that everything goes smoothly in their company and in their host family as well as their security - the evaluation of the trainees in their host family and company The contact person will be the link between the school and the partner all along the mobility and serve as an interpreter as often as necessary The trainees are excepted to : - attend the course regularly and be courteous with the host family and company Trainees will be monitored and evaluated all along the programme by evaluation forms completed by their host families, host company and themselves throughout their stay in Ireland. - write a diary under the form of a blog in order to keep us informed about their feelings and experiences. In that way the students'teachers, schoolmates and family will be able to look at it and keep in touch. - fill in a questionnaire on how they are satisfied with their host family and company After the participants'work period : - the value of their experience will be enhanced thanks to a Europass which will be given them as a proof, for their future employers, of their involvement a professional path which is open on tomorrow's Europe. - communication of the results at the level of the school, the region, and more widely on the etwinning plateform by all appropriate means Impact of this project : - better reputation of its partners leading to new mobility projects for both. - better professional skills and personal benefit from this rewarding experience for the trainees Objectives : - to perpetuate and widen the horizons of this action by renewing it on a larger scale with more students and by opening it to other countries and new partners through Etwinnning or partners from Czech Repubic who are already involved in projects with Vaclav Havel High School . Activity 2 : Discover new technologies in companies from each specialities to develop exchanges of trainers and partnerships. Increase trainers'skills in order to transfer them to their country. Activity 3 : Observation period for the referent teacher to : -know the Irish system of education better as regards to professional training - study the future opportunities to establish exchanges with the fahion students from the BIFE
