Mobilité européenne pour les enseignants et CPE agricoles
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Chapter 1, article L811-1, of the Livre VIII of the French Code Rural ensures the international cooperation as one of the 5 missions of the agricultural education system. Moreover, this system is concerned by contemporary and European subjects as professional inclusion of young workers, well trained and open-minded towards an international labor market. The training of youth is directly connected to the training of the staff of the colleges, and among them teachers and advisors (CPE), who are the target of this project. The Ecole nationale de formation agronomique (ENFA), leader of this project, is in charge of the training of the teachers and of one part of the training of the advisors. The aim of MATCH is above all to allow to these 2 types of “newcomers” in the agricultural education system to compare their professional practices to the ones of their European colleagues, to aware their awareness to intercultural topic and to help them to find answers to their newcomers’ questions. As soon as they arrive in the agricultural system, the newcomers report their wishes : they want to be good practicers but also want to understand the way the rural world is running. They need to foster their pedagogical and didactical skills but it’s not enough. To be actor, and not to be submitted to it, of the evolution of pupils and to be able to understand it means having a good knowledge of the social, cultural, national and European world in which they leave. At least, some colleagues would like to work abroad : they would like to develop mobilities for students, exchanges with technicians or just simply to allow their pupils to build themselves while discovering something new, but they don’t know how to do. The main aim is to make them be aware of international cooperation, for themselves, relatively to their professional know-how, but also for their learners. Mobility may be only an mobile to understand that “it’s possible to do as best as us using other methods”. The main activity of this project is to organise mobilities, individual or collective ones, During 2 weeks hosted by European partners. These mobilities are scheduled within 2 steps : first, the discovery of the educational system of the country and, secondly, the meeting with actors of the rural and agricultural world. The balance between the 2 topics may be adapted, regarding the group of beneficiairies, their needs and the host organisations. Each collective mobility is based on a commun agreement on the programme and tasks. To realise this objective, the quality of the relationships and mutual assessment of hosting partners are essential. The International relations office of ENFA, in charge of this programme, manages and coordinates it. It’s the service which will manage financial and administrative aspects, connected to the financial agreement and ERASMUS+ rules. The main impact on direct beneficiairies is to aware them about European cooperation in order to understand the potentials, so that, In long-term, they will be able to manage European activities for themselves but also for their learners…
