Mobilité et Ouverture Vers l'Europe
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Developing international actions and reinforcing the teaching of a foreign language are the priorities of our vocational school. Our students are not aware of the impact of Europe and do not consider themselves as European citizens. We must play a part in making them aware of this reality. Then they will take advantage of this opening onto Europe to improve their language skills and open their mind to other culture. It will give them the opportunity to participate in a mobility program. Next year, our vocational school will open a European section for the students preparing a diploma to become receptionists. the students will be taught some non-linguistic courses in English and are supposed to participate in a learning mobility thanks to the ErasmusPlus Program. The need to reinforce the teachers' skills on a linguistic, cultural and educational field is necessary in order to enlarge the opportunity of a mobility to a larger number of pupils. Two teachers are taking part in the mobility program for adults: the teacher in charge of the non linguistic subject taught in the English language (professional teaching) and the English teacher. They want to develop their professional skills in order to further interculturality, promote an effective European citizenship to pupils and develop international learning mobility programs. The international approach and openness will be an attractive feature for our training offer.
