It wants to make a contribution to the initiative to succeed by adressing mostly disadvantaged youngsters for the scheduled youth exchange with greece. This year the youth exchange takes place in Wiesbaden for the second time. The social work at schools understands the initiative KGI as a chance to achieve a long-term objective. The long-term objective is to develop the personality of the youth to improve the apprenticeship entry maturity. The topic of the seven days long international exchange between Germany and Greece is "Mobility makes us strong" and will take place in Wiesbaden (Germany) with 36 youngsters between 13 to 15 years. It has the aim to locate the own culture and situation among young people through experiences and adventures with peers of other countries. Possibilities of arranging the own (professional and private) future will be pointed out as well. With commen activities like sports, intercultural games, project work in teams etc. informal learning processes can be inspired and the social as well as the intercultural competence can be supported. Within the framework of preparation meetings the youth will be carefully prepared and included in the planning of the youth exchange. This year the youths wish to be living together in a hostel during the youth exchange will be complied. The international youth exchange and the learning processes coming with it shall be more intensive by living together in one house. Besides the common activities and excursions during the day, feedback rounds in the evening are planed to process the experience with the youths. With the implementation of a mentor system (where a german youngster becomes mentor of a greek youngster) the sense of responsibility will be supported as well as the informal learning processes during the youth exchange.
