Mobilita študentov našej školy, príprava na ich úspešné uplatnenie v zamestnaní
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The vocational training takes place in Granada (ISpain), where students will have the chance to present their practical skills and theoretical knowledge as well in a real working environment . The number of participants is 15, all of them study the same field: business school. They are 2nd- and 3rd-year students. The training should take place in October 2016, and it should be three-week long. After our successful vocational training in Great Britain and Italy last years, we decided to enable our students to see how firms operate in other European countries as well. The vocational training will concentrate on the business and service sectors. The aim of the vocational training abroad is to enable students to get a certain overview about how economy works in other countries, to ensure the possibility to acquire new knowledge and skills from the fields of marketing, management from the perspective European understanding of economy and trade, and about job possibilities abroad after finishing their studies at home. The work plan was prepared in cooperation with the hosting organization, the concrete tasks will be determined by the host organization based on the knowledge and skills of our students. The project is important since it enables our students (who have just started their studies) to acquire new knowledge and skills, to improve the already acquired ones, to see new methods and processes that are not typical in our state. By participating in an international project the quality of education improves in our school, and the appeal of our school as well. The interest of our potential students also raises by this possibility. This project enables us to send our students for a vocational training abroad, within which they will be able to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice in big organizations. Students already have knowledge from their general subjects, but from the field of economy as well (e.g. economy, bookkeeping, administration, correspondence, marketing, management, basics of trade). During their training, students work with the PC programmes of the firms, they practice business correspondence, they prepare primary business documents, they edit documents, and they also practice the simple- and double-entry bookkeeping on computers, they can compare the Commercial Code, the Trade Act, the Labour Code, the tax regulations, and other foreign documents with those that used at home, they can work with IT technologies, and with the latest programmes from their fields. On the personal meetings with the managers, they can learn valuable information about managing firms, about job possibilities, and about the possibilities of trade abroad. In the process of defining the project's aims, we concentrated on the needs of the participants and on those possibilities that our school has not been able to ensure yet:-our school cooperates with local firms primarily, we have not been able to ensure vocational trainings abroad (except last year's Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus plus projekts)-our school works with the software and programmes that are used in Slovakia, students have not had the chance to work with other programmes that are used in another states of the EU-our students have known only our business documents and forms so far, they have not worked with other foreign or international types of forms/documents yet-our students have learnt about our legal regulations, but they do not know the regulations that are valid in another states of the EU-our students can speak English on a sufficient level, but they miss the everyday communication in a foreign language, they need to develop their professional vocabulary-students know the steps of bookkeeping in certain PC programmes, but they have not had the chance to practice their skill in a firm abroadThe aims of our project are the following:-to learn how to work in the programmes and applications of the hosting firm-to learn the steps of bookkeeping in different PC programmes that are used by the firms abroad-to practice business correspondence in English language-to learn how to prepare the primary business documents for a firm in English language-to improve the knowledge of students from the following fields: bookkeeping, macro- and microeconomics, marketing, management, banking, HR-to learn how to work on different IT technologies that are used in the firms -to learn about the specifics of trade, management and HR in the firms abroad -to work with the documents of the firms -to develop the professional vocabulary in English and to practice the everyday expressionsStudents gain valuable experience abroad, they become more confident, independent, they understand the importance of their studies, they become more motivated to work on their skills.
